Banks show their social responsibility

Three of Canada’s largest mortgage lenders and banks have demonstrated their social responsibility this week. CIBC and BMO were both awarded by Corporate Knights and Maclean’s in recognition of their support for communities and social issues including sustainability. Meanwhile RBC announced the recipients of this year’s RBC Blue Water Project Leadership and Community Action Grants. The bank will donate more than $3.2 million for water protection programs delivered by 159 organizations across nine countries, including Canada, the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
