Marlborough Stirling parent sold

The parent company of Marlborough Stirling (MS Canada) is to be acquired by a major professional services firm. Vertex Mortgage Services, the UK based firm which bought MS Canada ten years ago, is to become part of Capita plc, expanding its mortgage business portfolio. Capita’s CEO Andy Parker told FTadviser.com that the acquisition helps the company towards its aim of being the mortgage processor of choice for existing mortgage lenders and challenger banks. The $68.8 million deal is subject to approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority.
