Betty Dore, the CEO of the London St Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR) has been given the Lyn Coupland Outstanding Service Award by the association. Dore’s entry into the real estate world was as a
mortgage broker but she has had a long and respected tenure at LSTAR and is retiring this year.
"Betty's commitment, over nearly four decades, to LSTAR, to its members, to Organized Real Estate and to the community is simply unsurpassed," said LSTAR President Stacey Evoy.
The award was presented at the association’s AGM last week in which Evoy paid tribute to the realtors in the region, who she called her “heroes”. She said that it’s the work of realtors in building communities “one house at a time” that contribute to the quality of life in those communities.
