Single-family homes in Metro Vancouver are set for sharp increases in property assessments. BC Assessments said Thursday that house owners should prepare for hikes of between 15 and 25 per cent while those will condos could be paying between 5 and 10 per cent more. Elsewhere in the province a rise of 10 per cent is expected. Two million property assessments will be mailed out early in 2016.
