Sales of waterfront recreational properties in the Lake Simcoe region of Ontario hit a record-high in 2016.
Chestnut Park Real Estate Brokerage reports that Lake Simcoe waterfront sales were up 82 per cent from 2015 and 109 per cent from 2014. The figures are based on analysis of sales of homes priced at $300,000 and above in the five areas the brokerage serves: Georgina, Beaverton, Orillia, Ore-Medonte and Innisfil.
