Brokerage adds commuter stats to property search

Real estate brokerage Royal Le Page has added a new metric to its home search website to enable homebuyers to compare travel times for their commute.

The new facility can be used to show travel times from homes on the site to any location which could include journeys to school, family or a favourite landmark. Various modes of transport are included.

“We know that for many homebuyers, one of the biggest considerations is commute times,” says Carolyn Cheng, Chief Operation Officer of Royal LePage. “The travel between home and work or a frequently-visited spot really matters to people, and this functionality answers that need with ease of use and prominent positioning on our national website.”
