Colliers announces coworking space partnership

Colliers International Group has announced a partnership that will boost its capabilities in the fast-growing coworking sector.

The Toronto-based real estate firm is partnering with Upsuite, a free online marketplace to help users find flexible workpaces.

Using the platform, Colliers professionals can easily find and secure the best flexible workplaces for their clients.

Upsuite was one of the firms that worked with the Colliers Proptech Accelerator Powered by Techstars.

“By targeting innovation through the resources of the proptech accelerator program, we are able to create solutions, shape technologies and find opportunities that will advance our business and the industry—our partnership with Upsuite being one of them,” said Gil Borok, Colliers Chief Operating Officer | U.S. Operations. “I look forward to our continued efforts in uncovering and shaping enterprising solutions for the commercial real estate industry, providing a competitive advantage for Colliers’ clients and employees alike.”

Upsuite began in Denver but has expanded to Toronto and is planning a wider North American roll-out this year.

“We were honoured to be a part of the accelerator’s Class of 2018 and are thrilled to be partnering with Colliers to provide added value and services to their clients and professionals,” said Ben Wright, Founder and CEO of Upsuite. “This partnership is a testament to Colliers’ commitment to advancing proptech innovations, as well as their focus on providing best-in-class solutions in the real estate industry.”
