Conrad Black rents back sold mansion

The Toronto mansion that Conrad Black sold moments before it was due to be auctioned, will remain his home. The Bridle Path neighbourhood house was sold for an undisclosed sum last week, disappointing bidders who had gathered in the hope of picking it up at auction. Black’s spokesman said Tuesday that the former media mogul is to continue living there as a tenant. If the price he got for the sale was anywhere close to its $21.8 million valuation by Concierge Auctions, then there should be plenty of cash in the bank to cover the rent for a while.
