The Montreal-based FRAPRU launches it campaign for more land to be released for social housing Monday. The social housing activists want more land to be reserved for affordable homes rather than for the private housing sector. The City of Montreal has promised to do more for housing once it is designated a metropolis which brings it more powers to make decisions.
