There are few things these days that can’t be bought online using a credit card and now that includes homes.
Online listings site BuzzBuzzHome has added a ‘buy now’ button to listings for condos in a Kitchener development.
Homebuyers who want a condo in the Barra on Queen development from Polocorp can use an online tool to choose their desired floorplan and other options, and then use their credit card to pay the deposit.
The online facility means that remote buyers moving to a part of Toronto popular with tech firm employees, can secure their condo remotely, but local buyers are also expected to see the benefit.
BuzzBuzzHome president Matthew Slutsky says that purchasers are likely to view the condos in person and after thinking about their decision, make the purchase from home when they are ready.
“Sales centres going forward will be brought down a little bit and not need to be so hyper-staffed and over the top,” Slutsky told the Toronto Star.
