The London and St Thomas Association of Realtors says 2015 was its second best year in its history and the best year since 2007. There were 9,366 home sales in the year including 7,563 detached homes (up 9.2 per cent from 2014) and 1,803 condo sales (up 13 per cent.) Overall sales were up 9.9 per cent year-over-year. Supply is an issue as we start 2016 with inventory down 14 per cent in the past year and LSTAR’s president Carl Vandergoot urged buyers not to wait too long: "We remain in a balanced market," says Vandergoot, "but, given the relatively low supply, now would be a good time for anyone thinking about listing their home to get in the game."
