New leader for global real estate firm's appraisal business

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed veteran property appraiser Eric Lewis as president of its Valuation & Advisory platform in the Americas.

Lewis has been with the global real estate firm for 26 years, most recently as executive managing director and practice group leaders of its V&A Hospitality & Gaming practice.

His new role means he will lead 600 professionals across six core services, 17 practice groups, and 70 offices; and focus on growth initiatives and technology.

Last year, the Cushman & Wakefield V&A team appraised 31,740 properties in the United States valued at $1.16 trillion (USD) and 3,710 properties valued at $146 billion (CAN) in Canada.

“Being asked to lead what is unequivocally the best team of professionals in the valuation industry is truly an honor,” Lewis said. “I’m humbled by it – and I plan to give this role everything I’ve got. With the leadership team and talent we have in place, I’m confident the Cushman & Wakefield V&A platform will continue to stand out as the undisputable top choice for real estate valuation and appraisal services across the Americas.”
