RE/MAX joins Franchise 500 top 5

One of the world’s largest real estate networks has joined the likes of McDonalds and Dunkin’ Donuts as a top franchise firm.

The top 5 ranking from Franchise 500 is based on factors including costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength and financial strength and stability. Eligible firms must be based in the US or Canada.

RE/MAX started as a single-office real estate firm in Denver in 1973 and now operates across more than 100 countries and territories with more than 115,000 sales associates.

"Nobody in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX as measured by residential transaction sides," said Adam Contos, Co-CEO of RE/MAX.

Contos says there are several reasons why real estate agents chose to be part of the network.

"Broker/owners and agents want to be affiliated with the number one name in real estate because of our brand awareness, continued education, on-demand training, competitive advantages and technology," he says.
