Retirees to reach new heights in 30-storey tower

Hundreds of people attended an open day event for a new high-end development for retirees Sunday.

The Sélection Retraite development on the banks of Rivière des Prairies in Laval is a 30-storey complex, the highest peak in the Canadian retiree-homes industry, and will be home to 206 rental apartments, 48 serviced condos, and 32 Rose Aimee care units.

The development is scheduled to open in July 2018 after an investment of almost $100 million.

The complex includes 167,350 square feet of common area, virtual golf course, training centre, swimming pool, marina, and an imposing dining room with a large windowed area overlooking the river.

“Sélection Panorama Prestige is a unique and innovative retirement complex in Canada. Grand winner of an international architecture award, its enchanting site and the variety of services we offer are the result of the efforts of an entire team,” said Réal Bouclin, Founder, President and CEO of
Réseau Sélection.

The high-end tower complex is inspired by the largest American seaside developments.

“The attention to detail is obvious in each of the rooms, the atmosphere is warm, the common space area allows great freedom and there are options for all budgets. I am excited to be part of this adventure that will provide residents with the living environment they dream of,” said Michel Forget, Sélection Retraite ambassador,
actor and businessman.
