Real estate agents in one Southwest Ontario market have reported a record high for home sales in November, tied with last November.
The Real Estate Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound reported 200 sales through its MLS system while the year-to-date sales were up 17.4 per cent from the same period of 2015 at 2,892.
Prices remained stable at $257,662 (average selling price), up 0.1 per cent from a year earlier; average price year-to-date was up 5.8 per cent to $259,081.
As with many markets, inventory remained tight last month with a 3.3 per cent drop in new listings year-over-year and an inventory of just 966 units, down 38.6 per cent.
