One of Canada’s major mortgage lenders will see its name adorning a new theatre building in Vancouver after making a $1.5 million commitment to the city’s cultural community. The Bank of Montreal has pledged the funding for The Arts Club Theatre Company and Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. The donation will ensure the completion of construction of their new theatre facility, to be named BMO Theatre Centre, scheduled to open this fall.
