This Toronto listing has a royal connection

The Toronto home where Meghan Markle lived before her engagement to Prince Harry is on the market.

The detached home at 10 Yarmouth Road in Seaton Village was rented by the actress until a few weeks ago, when she moved out for more glamorous surroundings.

Not that the home isn’t highly desirable, even if it’s not fit for a princess. The Globe and Mail reports that since the listing went live Thursday there has been a lot of interest.

The $1.395 million price tag is not reflective of its famous - and soon to be royal - resident; just the going rate for a home of its type in the neighbourhood.

Still, listing agent Daniel Freeman of Freeman Real Estate Brokerage says the royal link will always be there, for example when using the bathroom.

“It’s a nice thought to think, wow, Prince Harry used this toilet,” he told the Globe and Mail.
