Tribute paid to condo reform minister

The Calgary Real Estate Board has paid tribute to MLA Manmeet Bhullar who died Monday after being struck by a vehicle on a snowy road. Mr Bhullar, a former Minister of Service Alberta, is described as a “great friend to Alberta Realtors” and led reforms to the Condominium Property Amendment Act. He was killed having stopped on the highway between Edmonton to Calgary to help a motorist who was struggling in the snow. He was just 35. The CREB tribute reads: “Mr Bhullar will be remembered for his humour, passion, intellect and, above all, his dedication to public service. CREB extends its condolences to Mr Bhullar’s family, friends and colleagues.”
