CMP: How did you navigate regulatory changes in 2018?
Dalia Barsoum: We invested a significant amount of time in 2018 educating our clients about the new changes, helping them restructure their portfolios to open up borrowing power and, in many cases, consolidate debts that are standing in the way of borrowing under the new rules. We also increased access to private funds as a tool to supplement traditional financing under the stricter rules.
