Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned realtor in the US, has opened a branch in Vancouver and is unlikely to be its only Canadian branch. The commercial real estate firm hired a 22-strong team from DTZ Vancouver, including its president Chris Anderson who is running the new office.
“We will certainly be looking to expand into other Canadian markets. Toronto, Calgary, even though it’s going through some tough times right now — I worked in that market and it will always rebound,” he told the Vancouver Sun.
The brokerage has been in Vancouver since the 1970s, originally as Town Group Realty, then part of Toronto’s JJ Barnicke before joining DTZ.
