A 20 per cent jump for condo sales in the Montreal CMA led to a 10 per cent overall rise for sales in the area in June compared to a year earlier.
The Greater Montréal Real Estate Board reports that 3,952 sales were recorded through its Centris system, with plexes up 12 per cent and single-family homes up 4 per cent.
“The residential real estate market in the Montréal area is showing solid momentum, as we just registered the 25th increase in sales in the past 26 months,” said Mathieu Cousineau, President of the GMREB Board of Directors.
