After 8 years on the market PEI home sells at record price

A beachfront mansion on Prince Edward Island has finally sold after 8 years on the market and it’s set a new record price for the island.

The home at Cable Head East has 6 bedrooms and includes its own private beach but was overpriced when it was originally listed according to real estate agent Michael Poczynek.

He told the HuffPost Canada that interest had been low while the price was high but that it has sold for around the current asking price of $4.75 million, the highest price he is aware of on the island’s database.
