Americans circle bargain vacation homes in Canada

The fall in the value of the Canadian dollar, together with the growing US economy, is sparking increased interest from American buyers looking for vacation homes in Canada. Brad Hawker from Alberta’s Royal LePage Rocky Mountain Realty in Canmore told The Canadian Press that "I don't think it's going to be a huge flood of people immediately but it's started.” Along with interest from south of the border there are enquiries from Britain, Europe and Asia. Mr Hawker says that business is at a 25-year high as tourism in the area brings potential buyers to the area.
