BC to face higher cost of living in 2016

British Columbians are facing a year of higher costs according to analysis from CIBC. Economist Benjamin Tal says that the lower-valued loonie and continuing house price rises will see the province’s inflation increase. BC homeowners will be hit with higher property taxes in January due to the large increase in home values, food, insurance and gasoline are all set to be more expensive in 2016.
