CENTUM Canada Mortgage Direct dropped its five-year fixed interest rate for home loans from 2.84 per cent to 2.79 per cent Thursday.
Rate for its three-year fixed term stays at 2.49 per cent, while the five-year variable interest rate is still at 2.20 per cent.
Centum started in 2002 with its first offices located in Regina, SK; St-John, NB; Olds, AB; and Vancouver, BC. In February this year, its mother company, Centum Financial Group, announced the appointment of Martin Charlwood as its new chief executive.
