Mortgage brokers help the homeless

Brokers from Invis-Mortgage Intelligence were joined by others from the real estate industry Tuesday to help Canada’s homeless. The team visited homeless shelters in seven cities distributing winter clothing as part of the broker’s Angels in the Night Homeless Shelter Project. The annual event, which has been running since 2002, follows year-round fundraising and aims to deliver more than 100,000 items this year. As mortgage brokers in the business of helping people find their homes, it seems right to extend some support and help to those who might not have a warm home to go to every night," says Cameron Strong, CEO, Invis-Mortgage Intelligence." The brokers were out in Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Mississauga, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Halifax. Additionally, they will visit homeless people in London next Wednesday.
