Quebec real estate association appoints new president

The new president of the 2019-2020 board of directors at the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) has been announced.

Industry veteran Nathalie Bégin has more than 30 years’ experience in real estate including 20 years as a real estate broker.

She was president of the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board in 2018 and was on its board of directors since 2012. GMREB merged with the Quebec City and Laurentides real estate boards at the start of 2019 to form QPAREB.

"I am pleased to have the confidence of my colleagues and I am excited to take on this new role within the Association," said Ms. Bégin. "There are several major projects ahead of us and I look forward to aligning our efforts in order to promote the real estate brokerage profession and serve the interests of our members, particularly in a context where real estate transactions are increasingly complex and consumers have every advantage in teaming up with a real estate broker.”

The board of directors also appointed Anouk Vidal as Vice-President of the QPAREB board of directors. Ms. Vidal has more than 10 years of experience as a real estate broker.
