Real estate bodies agree closer co-operation, information sharing

Real estate agents who are members of the Toronto Real Estate Board or the Barrie & District Association of Realtors are to benefit from a new agreement between the two bodies.

While continuing to operate as separate boards, with their own identities and benefits; the two organizations will share certain resources and database information.

“We are moving in the right direction, partnerships like this one will be the way of the future,” said Julia Price-Greig, BDAR Executive Officer. “BDAR members already extend into the TREB market and vice versa, making this partnership a natural progression. Access to a more extensive database will benefit all members, their clients, and the industry as a whole.”

It is expected that the formal agreement will bring benefits to real estate agents in time for the Spring 2017 market.
