Trump Hotel case due in Ontario Superior Court

A case involving investors in a hotel and condo complex is due to begin in Ontario’s Superior Court Thursday. The litigation involves buyers of units in the Trump International Hotel and Tower who claim that the marketing claims made for the condo/hotel rooms were a “gross misrepresentation” and that the units failed to make returns that had been suggested. The two test-cases could open up legal action for another 22 buyers who are claiming losses of between $200,000 and $1 million.
