‘Worst non-recession for 50 years’ predicts BMO

The Bank of Montreal is predicting that Canada is heading for its worst non-recession performance in more than 50 years. The mortgage lender’s Nesbitt Burns unit says that the second half of 2015 will pick up from the poor start to the year but expects the whole-year growth to be just 1.2 per cent.
